On September 21st, 2013, we will be holding our 9th Annual Carnival of Rainbows at North Nova Education Centre from 1-5pm. Our carnival allows families to come together for an afternoon of fun. Everything at our carnival is free. However, donations at the door are accepted. We have over 15 game booths where children win tickets to purchase prizes. We also have a bounce house, food, merchandise bingo and lots of other fun activities. Molly’s Rainbows is a proud supporter of the IWK and local organizations that help children and their families in need.
CBC News aired a short news feature on this weekends's Carnival at 18:40 of this broadcast:
In previous years, we have given to several local charities/organizations such as donating to The William M Sobey Sports Complex to help purchase a heart defibrillator; the Ped/Mat Ward at the Aberdeen Hospital, the Pictou County Children With Autism Association to help purchase GPS units for autistic children, and to Kids First. The support and generosity of our community has allowed us, in the past seven years, to donate close to $30, 000 to the IWK Children’s Hospital.
Donation 2012 Thank you to everyone who helped us donate $5000 to the IWK!
June 4, 2004 was a Friday evening when Baby Molly MacIvor began her journey toward Heaven. First God gave her the wings of an Angel that she surely earnednhere on earth; then she was accompanied by a multitude of BabyAngelswho lead the way for her. As she approached the Gates of Heaven, they began to open wide; at that very moment radiant beams of colored lights created the most beautiful rainbow that seemed to touch the ends of the earth.
